Theresa “Terry” J. Crump

Theresa “Terry” J. Crump passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 82.

Theresa is survived by her children, Robert and Lianne Crump, and Justine Ferraioli both of Rio Rancho, NM; sister, Mary Ray of Lindenhurst, NY; grandchildren, Derrick Martinez and fiancée, Melanie Perez, Matthew Martinez, Stephanie Martinez, Josephine Crump, Jacqueline Crump, Julianne Crump and Richard Crump; great grandchildren, Keanu Martinez and Mila Medina.

Theresa was born on December 20, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY. She married her beloved husband of 56 years, Richard Crump in New York on February 6, 1960.

Theresa loved her faith and educating others. She taught catechism at St. Thomas Aquinas. She even had her grandchildren in her classes. She also loved Hollywood; movies, theatre, opera, and red carpet glam. When Theresa’s eyesight began to depreciate, she could name that star by their voice! Theresa was an active parishioner at Rio Rancho’s Church of the Incarnation. Prior to this church being built, she went to daily mass at St. Thomas Aquinas. Theresa was selfless and donated regularly to the Felix Food Bank (local to Albuquerque) and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, please place a donation in memory of Theresa to St. Jude children’s Hospital, whom she was an advocate for.

To all those that have shared their condolences for our family, we send our endless love and gratitude to each of you who have been overwhelmingly supportive during this time.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

A rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 10:30 am at Church of Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Rd NE, Rio Rancho, NM. A mass will take place at 11:00 with a reception to follow. Interment will be at 2:00 pm at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
