Jimenez, Leonila Consuelo "Connie"

Age 78, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014. She was born in Canjilon, NM on March 24, 1936, to Agapito and Manuelita (Montano) Vigil.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie Jimenez; siblings, Alvaro Vigil, Vidal Vigil, Mercy Apodaca, and Molly Vigil. Connie is survived by her children, Nadine Jimenez, Eileen Layden and husband Eric, Irene Jimenez; grandchildren, Melanie Milburn, Rosa Tarango, Charles Jimenez, III, Olivia Ludi and husband Jordan, Rachel Layden; great-grandchild, Katelyn Olivas; siblings, Vincente Vigil and wife Karla, Pete Vigil and wife Bernice, Grace DeAguero, Eliza Valdez and husband Dennis.

Connie loved the casino, her beautiful roses and shopping. She was known for her red chile and tortillas. She spent her life loving and raising her three daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered and missed dearly every day.

A visitation will be held at 8:30 am, Saturday, November 29, 2014, at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. The Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 29, 2014, with the Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:30 am, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment to follow at 11:45 am, at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho, NM.
