Dale Albert Udy, born June 7, 1931, son of Charles Udy Jr. and Anna F. Blickfeldt, passed away Jul. 29, 2020. Dale was a stalwart member of the LDS Church, serving as High Priest. Dale married his eternal sweetheart, Josephine (nee Nielsen), Jan. 16, 1959 in Logan (UT) Temple. Dale served as an airman in Japan in the US Air Force, he retired from Hill AFB, Utah, having served 35 years civil service, as a master carpenter. Spending most of his life in Utah, Dale and Josephine moved to New Mexico in 1998. Preceded in death by his wife and parents, plus 2 grandsons (Damon Udy and Elijah Zaine Cooper). Dale is survived by his brother Vernal Lee Udy (Dee) (New Mexico), and all 5 of their natural children, Robert Udy (Christine) (Colorado), JoD’Ann Cooper (Michael) (Oregon), Keith Udy (New Mexico), Thomas Udy (Amberlee) (Nevada) and Janaye Wolfe (Utah). Plus 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Dale is to be buried with his wife, at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, where he will receive full military honors.
