Dan G Garcia

Dan G Garcia Age 84, passed away at home surrounded by his family on June 25, 2021.

He was born in Clayton NM on December 20, 1936 to J Frank and Sarah Garcia.  He graduated from Albuquerque High School and attended UNM.  He was proud to serve in the U S Marines Corp. He retired from the United States Postal Service in October 1992.  Later he worked as a Supervisor of School Crossing Guards from 1996 to 2014.

Dan was preceded in death by parents J Frank and Sarah Garcia, son-in-law Ronnie Hill, sister Kathryn Rose Padilla, and niece Karen Nead.  Dan is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marilyn F Garcia; Daughters, Camille Garcia- Hill and Kathryn Deaton (Brent), Grandchildren , Robert Hill, Megan Hill, Brianna Ornelas, Miranda Deaton, Russell Deaton, Justin Deaton.  Great Grandchildren Lily and Ayden Ornelas. His sister Patricia Howard, brother John F Garcia (Thea), sister-in-law Norma Hickox, brother-in-law Stanley (Judy) Lamb and many nieces and nephews. 

Services will be at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic church 5712 Paradise Blvd, July 23, 2021 with a Rosary at 9:15am and Mass at 10:15. Interment to follow with military Honors at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
