Flora Rivera

My mom Flora Rivera 93 years old and the sole survivor of her family was called to heaven on April 1, 2019. She was preceded in death by my dad, Louis Rivera, her dad (Epimenio Salas) and mom (Juanita Marquez Salas) plus all her brothers (Joe Salas, Robert Salas, Toby Salas, Junior Salas) and sisters (Benita Schoeppner and Irene Valdez). She is survived by her 7 children (Linda Rivera, Barbara (Rivera) Welsh and husband Greg Welsh, Elizabeth (Rivera) Wemple and husband Don Wemple, Billy Rivera,  Edward Rivera and wife Virginia Rivera, Ronnie Rivera, and Anna Rivera Gonzales). She had 12 grandchildren (Adrian Rivera, Adam Rivera, Robert Wemple, Dawn Michelle (Wemple) Maglish , Timothy Welsh,  Michael Welsh,  Jennifer Welsh, Jessica Rivera, Gabriel Rivera, Lawrence Gonzales, Jonathan Gonzales and Savanna Gonzales. She also had 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. 
 
My mom was strong, amazing, loving, caring and never had a bad word to say about anybody. She loved her family dearly and would do anything for them. She loved her plants/flower and had lots of rose bushes and grew the most amazing chrysanthemums. I will always remember her beautiful back yard. She also loved her church, she was a devowed catholic, she went to church every Sunday as her health permitted.  I will miss you mom.
