Holly Anne Franchell

Franchell, Holly Anne Holly Anne Franchell, 20, passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, February 24, 2013. She was born on May 15, 1992 in Wurzburg, Germany, the beloved daughter of John and Wendy Franchell. Holly attended James Monroe Middle School and Cibola High School, where she was very involved in one of her great loves, music. An accomplished musician, Holly played violin in her school orchestras as well as with the Albuquerque Youth Orchestra. She also had a lifelong passion for animals, from an early age displaying a unique gift to connect with them. Throughout her life, Holly cared for many cherished pets, loving them as members of the family, including her dogs Denali, Delgado, and Dakota. Holly is survived by her parents, John Charles Franchell and Wendy Sue Franchell; her paternal grandparents, Jim and Jean Franchell; and numerous members of the Maxwell and Franchell families. She also leaves behind her very close friends Sophia and Bob-o. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, at the Daniels Family Sara Chapel, located at 4310 Sara Road in Rio Rancho. Following the service, a reception will be held at the VFW Post 5890 in Rio Rancho, located at 76 Unser Boulevard NE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in memory of Holly be made to the Holly Franchell Memorial Fund at the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 8530, Albuquerque, NM 87198. Holly�s lifelong dream was to live in Alaska, and her last wish is to rest there, in her heart�s home. Her remains will be returned to Alaska, where, surrounded by beauty, she will rest in peace.
