Mary Jane Trujillo, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully on January 8, 2015 at the age of 90. She was born to Alexander and Anna Drozdiak on December 6, 1924 in Shamokin, Pennslyvania. She attended Temple University in Philadelpia where she recevied her RN. She moved out west and worked for Indian Services at Taos Pueblo Clinic. She met her husband in Taos while he was working as a biochemist at the Los Alamos Labs. She married Theodore Trujillo on December 10, 1947 in Mexico City, Mexico. They resided in Los Alamos for thirty years, moved to Bosque Farms and then to Albuquerque. Mary Jane is survived by her husband Ted of 67 years; two children, Patricia Clay (John) of Salt Lake City, UT and Thomas Trujillo of Los Alamos, NM; three grandchildren Matthew Clay (Kate) of San Diego, CA; Devin Clay of Denver, CO; and Maureen Olsen (Andrew) of Phoenix, AZ; and seven great-grandchildren. Mary Jane had a beautiful voice and sang in many church choirs for weddings and Sweet Adelines. She was very proud of her Ukrainian heritage; participating in Ukrainian activities such as dance groups and embroidery circles. Mary Jane loved playing bridge, square dancing, doing needle crafts and traveling with her husband. She and Ted traveled to more than 20 countries. Cremation services provided by Daniels Family Funeral Services. Private interment will be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe.
