Mary worked for New Mexico State Government for 25 years and retired in 1982. She loved to cook, play poker, and entertain family and friends. Her favorite time of the year was October 31st/Halloween which she celebrated each year with all nine grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister, who always put family and friends first. She was one who was always active and had a keen interest in US/New Mexico politics. Mary was an avid, true blue Dallas Cowboy fan who loved to sport her jersey on game days.
We want to thank all our family and friends who shared special times and moments with her and that were always a big part of her life. We also want to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Northridge Alzheimer's Specialty Center and Gentiva Hospice for the love, compassion and care they gave our mother. You were truly her “Guardian Angels”.
