Matthew Emmett Gonzales

Matthew Emmett Gonzales, age 46, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on February 28, 1973, to Edward and Maryann  Gonzales. He graduated from Los Lunas High School, class of 1991.  He began his career in law enforcement with Bernalillo County Sheriff's department and retired at the rank of Under-sheriff.   He was a loving husband, father, son and friend.

Matthew is survived by his wife, Tammy Lynn Gonzales of Rio Rancho, NM; son, Kyler Gonzales; daughter, Lauren Gonzales; sister, Christella Armijo (Pasquale); brothers, Mark Gonzales (Tabitha), Edward Coleman (Brooks); several nieces and nephews; mother, Maryann Gonzales, father, Edward Gonzales. 

Recitation of the Rosary will take place Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 10:30 AM, Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Rd. NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144.  Mass will follow at 11:00 AM.
