Melanie Renee Martinez, age 34, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, December 19, 2016.  She was born on December 22, 1981 to Dolores Sanchez-Molina and David Martinez. Surviving in addition to her mother and father are: step-father Jose Molina; Nana Dahlia Tapia; brother, Nathan Armijo his wife Leslie and their two children, Shay and Adam; brother, Daniel Martinez; many aunts, uncles and cousins; significant other Kyler Barrett, and her two beloved dogs Gordy and Pork Chop. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

Melanie was very loved by everyone who knew her. She was fun-loving, carefree, and always the life of the party. She lit up any room with her beauty and infectious smile. She had a zest for life and was admired for her artistic spirit and her quick wit. She is described by many as someone that lived hard and loved deep. She was taken from us way to soon and will be missed dearly and loved forever.

A viewing will be held at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 6:00 PM. Rosary will be recited at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM at 8:30 AM on Tuesday December 27, 2016 with a Mass to follow at 9:00 AM.
