Peter is survived by his wife, Michele Laks of Albuquerque, NM; father, Donald Laks of El Paso, TX; mother, Barbara McClain and husband the honorable Lawrence McClain of Rio Rancho, NM; daughter, Melissa Laks of Albuquerque, NM; grandson, Joziah Laks of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Gregory Laks of Rio Rancho, NM; sisters, Suzanne Laks and spouse Jackie Donovan of Cherry Hill, NJ, Lorena Laks of El Paso, TX; step-brothers, Terry McClain and wife Elizabeth of Henderson, NV, Michael McClain of Las Vegas, NV, Tim McClain and wife Kristie of Verona, NJ, Denny McClain of Blythe, CA.
Peter was the third generation to join the auto industry as a professional and was the owner of RPM Motor Sports.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, January 26, 2015 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
