Pugliese, Samuel L. 

Age 85, of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, January 9, 2019. He was surrounded by family and his passing was gentle and comfortable.  Sam was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, with a warm heart and kind spirit. He was a veteran and served in the US Army during the Korean war. He moved to New Mexico in 1996 with Mary, his loving wife of almost 50 years, and their devoted daughter Leah. He enjoyed quiet time at home relaxing with family, and daily drives (happy dogs on board) through the amazing New Mexico high desert. He was preceded in death by parents Joe and Sally Pugliese and wife Mary, the love of his life. He is survived by daughter Leah, sons Joe and Bill, grandson Joe and his wife Pelai, great grandsons Jalin and Darron, sisters Dona and Annette, and many nephews and nieces.  Services will be held at Daniels Funeral Home, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 9:30 am.
