Wright, William Loren

Age 100, passed away in Albuquerque, NM on Thursday, November 7, 2019. He was born in Lowell, Kansas, on April 20, 1919, to Lindley A. Wright and Renetta Stanford French.

William was a proud veteran who served in the Navy for 6 years.  He also attended Kansas State University and graduated with an Electrical Engineering degree in 1951.  In that same year, on June 16 in Indiana he wed the love of his life, Sarah Elizabeth Irwin, and they were married for over 57 years.  He later went on to a career with the Army Missile Command over a duration of 16 years.

Some of William's hobbies included his Ham radio and golfing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and son, William Joel Wright.

William is survived by his son, Robert Alan (Roberta) Wright of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Marcia (Mike) Nazarek of Henderson, NV; and sister, Jean Bowman of Independence, MO.
