A. L. Bud"" Nothstine

A.L. "Bud" Nothstine a ling-time resident of Farmington passed from this life on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the age of 86. He was born September 7, 1922 in Des Moines, Illinois to Albert and Allie (Mealer) Nothstine. Bud loved to fly and was proud to be in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He moved to Farmington in 1952 and established B&G Electric Company as an electrical contractor. Bud later opened Brookside Lighting. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Gwen Nothstine; children, Charlotte Fowler, Rebecca Haling, Al Nothstine, and Tom Nothstine; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nephew Herb Gephardt.
