Abraham Ortiz

Abraham Ortiz, 80, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2018. Mr. Ortiz is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elisaida Ortiz; son, Vincent Ortiz, daughter, Rosina Carrejo and her fiancé Kenneth Ashford. Sisters; Virginia Villalva of California, Juanita Gonzales of Colorado, niece, Maria Spillers of Albuquerque, many brother-in-law’s, sister-in-law’s, nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Mr. Ortiz was preceded in death by his parents, Fidel and Vicenta Ortiz, Sister Lucy Ortiz, brothers Jimmy Ortiz, Manuel Ortiz, Joe Ortiz and Canuto Ortiz. Abraham was a resident of Albuquerque since 1973. He attended University of Missouri Rolla, where he obtained his certification in paint formulation. His career was working as a Laboratory Chemist as well as Technical Director of Quality Control for 24 years at a local paint manufacturer. Private services will be held at a later date.
