Ada Mata

Mata, Ada Age 88, a long time former resident of Alameda, currently residing in Rio Rancho, passed away peacefully the evening Tuesday, September 4, 2012 with family at her side. Her spirit and soul have transported into the hands of God. Ada had a zest for life and lived each day to the fullest. In her life she enjoyed fishing and always caught the most fish, bowling, various crafts, gardening, and going to the local casinos. To know her was to love her and she will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Juan, and parents Angela and Crespin Rosa. Ada is survived by daughter, Esther Mata-Rearick and her husband Ken of Rio Rancho, NM; son, David Mata; brother, Frank Rosa and his wife Carmen of Brooklyn, NY; sister-in-law, Martha; nephews, Bob and Larry and his wife Teresa; niece, Sandra and her husband Toby . Visitation will take place Tuesday, September 11, 2012, from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St. NW, Albuquerque. Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm following visitation.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at 9:00 am, at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St. NW, Albuquerque. Burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery following service. Pallbearers will be Tom Gutierrez, Tom Garcia, and Bob Mata, Joe Gutierrez, Ron Gutierrez, James Gutierrez.
