Martinez, Adella "Dolly"
Our beloved mother, Adella “Dolly” Martinez went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2016. Better known as "Grandma Dolly", she was born on June 29, 1933 in Denver, Colorado and resided there off and on until 1994, when she decided to make Albuquerque, NM her home. Dolly is preceded in death by her Brother Butch Martinez. She is survived by her sister Sally Cole and sister in-law Francis Martinez. Her children: Anna Marie Mares, Henry Mares and wife Bernadine, Paul Mares and wife Margaret. Grandma Dolly is survived by 9 grandchildren; Tobi, Michael, Nicholas, Adriana, Danielle, Victoria, Stephanie, Melanie, Jeremy, and 20 great-grandchildren. Dolly is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She will be greatly missed and always in our hearts. Thank you Mom for all you have done for us, we will miss you and always love you.
Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and nurses aides that helped with mom's care.
A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1001 Meteor Avenue, NE in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Mass will be at 11:00 am with a reception following at the church. Inurnment at Vista Verde Memorial Park will be scheduled at a later date.
