Adolfo Baca

Adolfo Baca Sr, a lifelong resident of Socorro, New Mexico, passed away at his home on September 30, 2020. Adolfo was born on April 4, 1954 to Gabriel and Frances Baca. Adolfo was a good friend to everyone he met and was above all a loving husband and father. He was sure to put a smile on your face no matter what kind of day you were having. He was an avid sports and music lover and was a very hard worker; dedicating 32 years of his life to the Socorro Consolidated Schools. He never failed to provide for his family and make sure they were well taken care of. Adolfo is preceded in death by both of his parents; and his sisters, Patricia Montoya and Maryann Lucero. He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Helen Baca; his children, Jennie (John) Baca Savedra; and Adolfo Baca, Jr; his grandchildren, Ryan Baca, Jasmine Angel Baca, and Sistine Dunn; his two great-grandsons, Jacob and Joshua; his brother, Anthony “Beetle” (Marie) Baca; his sisters; Connie (Tom) Ebler, Gloria (Donnie) Billa, and Arlene Baca;  and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws who all loved him dearly. Rosary to be recited on Friday, October 16, 2020, at 9:30 am at the  San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro, New Mexico. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated immediately following at 10:00 am with Father John Anasiudu presiding.  Inurnment will take place at San Miguel Catholic Cemetery following service.
