Agripina “Pina/Penny” Lucero completed her journey in life and passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2020. She was born in San Luis, NM on July 2, 1927 to the late Eduvigen and Lucarita Lovato of Bernalillo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Lucero & child Orlando Lucero. Agripina “Pina/Penny” was a caring, strong and loving woman. Her enjoyment in life was baking and cooking. You wouldn’t leave her home without having eaten or taking home a care package. She later in life she came to know and accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior and she spent her time praying, reading her bible, singing and watching Christian programs.
Agripina is survived by her daughter, Dolorita Mackey, sons, Ronald (Sarah) Lucero, Danny (Yolanda) Lucero, Clemente “Stan” Lucero; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and agreat, great grandchild; brothers, Armelino and Victor (Betty) Lovato of Bernalillo; sisters, Rose Duran of Albuquerque, Petrita (Adan) Calderon of Bernalillo; brother in-laws, Frank Jaramillo of Bernalillo, Eustacio (Rose) Lucero of Rio Rancho; sister-in laws: Marcella Garcia of Albuquerque, Kathryn Paroline of Los Angeles and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
