Antone died Feb. 18, 2011, in Taos. He was born July 12, 1964, in Gallup, into the Towering House People Clan for the Black Streak People Clan. Antone attended Monument High School and Culinary School at SIPI in Albuquerque. Hobbies included cooking, sculpturing small figurines, drawing, painting, hiking and playing chess. Survivors include his sons, Alac Jarrod Antone, Raphael Lee Antone, Orlando Antone Kay; daughter, Ila Antone; parents, Jerry and Lucy Antone; brothers, Arthur B. King, Jerry V. Antone; sisters, Veronica L. Smith, Philomena T. Antone, Jerrilene Antone-Morton; grandmother, Jennie Nez; four grandchildren. Antone was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ella Tracey. Pallbearers will be Julius Smith, Leroy Castillo, Bronson Tony, Stoney Tony, Rocky Tony, Jairon Antone. The family will receive relatives and friends at Tsa Yatoh Chapter House, following services.
