Alan Samuel Bowman

In loving memory of Alan Samuel "Sam" Bowman, who was called to eternal rest on March 12, 2024, at the age of 62. Born under God's grace on June 21, 1961, in Las Cruces, NM, Sam walked a path marked by humility, gratitude, and an unwavering respect for all of God's creation.

Sam was known for his hardworking nature, bravery, generosity, good-heartedness, thriftiness, and sincerity. His generous nature was a gift to those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his loving children, Deidre Gabaldon, Alayna Bowman, Samuel Bowman, Michael Gabaldon, and Zacaria Abad, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Jenessa Gabaldon, Andrew D. Gabaldon, Emmalee Bowman-Anderson, Andrew S. Anderson, Ramona Bowman-Abad, and Leonidas Bowman-Abad. Sam is also survived by his brothers Eric Bowman and Dan Jason Bowman, and sisters Evonne Jones and Michelle Bowman.

Joining the Heavenly Father and the celestial choir are those who preceded him in passing: his beloved mother, Marie F. Oliver Tsosie; his father, Danton James Bowman; and his brother, Warren Bowman. Followed by his beloved daughter Elise Bowman, two days after his passing.

Sam enjoyed fishing, spending quality time with his grandchildren, and listening to live music. These hobbies brought him immense joy and fulfillment throughout his life.

A ceremony to celebrate Sam's life will take place at the Pecos River in June 2024, with further details to be announced.

Daniel's Family Wyoming Chapel in Albuquerque, NM, is assisting with the funeral arrangements for Sam Bowman, ensuring that his final journey is handled with care and respect.
