Albert Eugene Doles

DOLES_Albert Eugene Doles, 81, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2009. Albert was born November 21, 1927 the son of Jennings Bryan and Mable St. Clare Moore Doles in Emporia, Kansas. Albert attended Cornell University, Emporia State University, Kansas State University, and the University of New Mexico. He served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1954. He served as project engineer, production coordinator, assistant engineering manager and Vice President with Eberline Instrument Corporation in Santa Fe, New Mexico before he retired in 1981. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Mable Doles; and one brother, Jack Doles. Albert is survived by his wife, Donna Doles of Rio Rancho; sons, David and Glynis Doles of Auburn, WA, Peter and Erin Doles of Rio Rancho, Tom Doles of Roswell, NM, Luke Doles and Dan Evans of New York City, NY, Mark Doles and wife Kelly Allen of Edgewood, NM; daughters, Cheryl Doles of Lubbock, TX, and Peggy Grubbs and husband Rick of Richland Hills, TX; twelve grandchildren; and five great grandchildren; one brother, Jennings Bryan Doles, Jr. and wife Helen of Apopka, FL. In lieu of flowers, it has been suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimers Disease Research Center, 22512 Gateway Center Dr., Clarksburg, Maryland 20871 or to ones favorite charity.
