Albert Juan Garcia

GARCIA - Albert (Al) Juan Garcia (Ret) Army passed away on April 9, 2011, at the home of his son, surrounded by family. Al was born on April 28, 1939, in Santurce, Puerto Rico. He moved to Albuquerque in 2003 to live with his son. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Fernando and Gloria Garcia. He is survived by his son, John (Denise) Garcia of Albuquerque; daughter, Debbie Stewart of California; grandchildren, Matthew Garcia, Jason Stiles and Kelsey Cullins; great grandson, Dominic Garcia; mother to his children and best friend, Eileen Stewart; step daughters, Kelly (Stan) Girnas and Teri Lee (David) Cullins, all of Texas; brothers, Fred (Nita), of Alabama and George (Titi), of Puerto Rico; many other friends and family who will miss him dearly. Al's family wishes to extend deep love and gratitude to the Page family for their love and tremendous support with his excellent care during his final weeks of life. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at 10:30 A.M., at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel. A private placement will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
