76, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 23, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Magdalena, NM on December 1, 1935 to Jose and Aurelia (Tafoya) Ortiz. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, his son in law, Bruce Lindsay; his brothers, Joe and Frank Ortiz; and his beloved daughter, Marie Ortiz. He is survived by his loving wife Cecilia; his devoted daughters, Linda Mae Larrabee and husband Brian; Brenda Aja and husband Ken; Sandra Brown and husband Gene; Christine Ortiz and companion Victor Palma; and Patricia Ortiz; his step children, Manuel Perry and wife Linda; and Lucille Lindsay; his Brother, Patrick Ortiz and wife Bonnie. He enjoyed 13 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild along with many other loving family members and friends. Albert was a resident of Truth or Consequences, NM for the past twelve years, but called Magdalena home. He enjoyed woodworking and tinkering around his home. He had a love for fishing and camping with his wife and family. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Daniels Family Funeral Services - Socorro Chapel, 309 Garfield St, Socorro. Interment will follow in the Magdalena Cemetery. Albert's care has been entrusted to: Daniels Family Funeral Services
