Albert J Rivera

Albert J. Rivera, Jr. (Buddy)  went to be with the lord on January 8, 2017.  He was born on November 25, 1943 in Pecos, New Mexico. He was a graduate of Pecos High School. He is the son of Efren Dean Rivera and Albert C. Rivera, Sr., Grandson of Encarnacion S. Rivera and Ignacita C. Rivera.  He loved his family and enjoyed spending time at the family cabin and homestead in Tererro.  He was a very successful business owner with numerous awards and enjoyed overseeing the operation of his business.  He enjoyed meeting people and was quick with a joke and a smile.
He is preceded in death by mother Efren, Father Albert Sr., Grandfather Encarnacion, Grandmother Ignacita and daughter Delores.
He is survived by his wife Patsy of Rio Rancho, daughter Lori of Rio Rancho, son Chris of Rio Rancho, son Tony of Rio Rancho, son Anthony of Rio Rancho, sister Jeannette of Enid, Oklahoma, brother Perry of Hileah, Florida, sister Jackie of Pheonix, Arizona, cousin Roland of Albuquerque, Granddaughters: Christy, Mariah, Esperanza, Ashley and Raquel Lee, Grandsons: Stephan, Andrew, Ryan, and Anthony Ross.
Private viewing for family will be on Monday, January 16, 2017 between the hours of 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM at Daniels Funeral Home, 2400 Southern Blvd S.E., Rio Rancho.
Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 commencing at 10 AM at Daniels Funeral Home, 2400 Southern Blvd S.E., Rio Rancho followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menual Blvd N.E., Albuquerque.
Food and refreshments will be served after burial at son Chris’s home located at 3436 Kafka Road N.E., Rio Rancho.
