Alex John Baca

Our brother Alex J Baca gained his wings on July 1, 2023.

He was born on June 18,1979 in Albuquerque, NM to Alex N Baca and Mary M Baca.

He is preceded in death by his parents Alex and Mary Baca and older sister Mary Ann V Baca.

He is survived by his children Alex Lee Baca and Emily Kay Baca, and his only granddaughter who he loved and adored Esperanza D Baca.  His sister Bernadette Griego (Jimmy), Eve Sanchez (Ted), Francine Edgin (John), and little sister April Baca and his brother John Edgin.

Alex was a devoted Catholic who attended Holy Family Church every morning before going to work and Saturday afternoon.  He was proud and very dedicated to his job which he just completed 23 years this month as facilities manager at American Home Furnishings.  He was loved and admired by his nephews and nieces, cousins, friends, and family.  

Alex was a hard core Raiders Fan, he loved to socialize, he had the best sense of humor and an unforgettable laugh.

Alex was dedicated first and foremost to his family, we will miss him dearly.

Pallbearers are Alex Lee Baca, John Edgin, Adrian Edgin, Isaac Torres, Gabe Chavez, and Joe LaJeunesse.

Honorary Pallbearers are Angel Rodriguez, Ted Sanchez, Rick Sanchez, and Eric Sanchez.

A rosary will be held on Thursday July 13, 9:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church followed by Mass at 10:00am.  Burial following at San Miguel New Cemetery.
