Alex Salas

Salas, Alex Beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the age of 57. He was a life long resident of Bernalillo, NM. Alex was preceded in death by his father, Eustaquio Salas; sister, Dolores Salas; grandparents, Gregorio and Bernadita Salas, Abel and Abranita Dominguez. Alex is survived by his loving mother, Cirilia Salas; sisters, Edwina Montoya and husband Ray, Clara Salas, Margaret Garcia and husband John, Frances Taylor and husband Vince; brothers, Lawrence Salas and wife Barbara, Martin Salas and wife Jeannette; six nephews; eight nieces; 11 great-nieces; four great-nephews. Alex is also survived by a wonderful and beautiful extended family of Salas Care - Direct Care Staff. A Rosary will be recited Friday, January 4, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Taylor, Jared Salas, Carlos Medina, Joseph Garcia, John Patrick Garcia and Aaron Salas. Honorary Bearers will be Joe Gurule, Tommy Lucero and Joshua Salas.
