BOURGUET - Alfred J. Bourguet, born in Albuquerque, NM in 1960, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 3, 2023. Alfred is survived by his sister, Judy Spear, and husband Jerry; brother, Jake Bourguet, and wife Daiana; seven nephews and nieces; Michelle Jio (TJ), DJ Quezada (Kim), Jacque Abrams (Josh), Robin Quezada (Jimmy), Amanda Downing (Scott), Gerald Bourguet (Amy), and Giovanna Trujillo (Diego).
Alfred was a professional accountant with Culligan/Crystal Springs. He was also a brilliant trumpet player through most of his life. At 14 years old, he began performing on stage with our Dad, Jeff Bourguet, and the Bourguet Brothers Band. He took great pride in joining the Purple Haze with our brother Jeff Jr., then continued to have an outstanding career with numerous popular bands throughout the southwest area.
Alfred will long be remembered for his beautiful smile, kindness, great sense of humor, and his love of family and friends. He always lived life to the fullest! Alfred fought a courageous 8-year battle with brain cancer and along this journey he chose to redirect his life’s focus on his walk with Jesus and continued to be grateful for his countless blessings.
