Alfred A. Lente

LENTE, Alfred A. (Jose Alfredo), of Isleta Pueblo, N.M., Age 90 passed away at home on Saturday Morning, March 2nd, 2013. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Theresa (Teddy) Lente, his daughter Theresa (Terry) E. Lente � Chavez; his oldest grandson Chris Valencia; his brothers Jose L. (Buster) and Johnny; and his sisters: Erma, Julia, Carlota, Elenore, and Margaret. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Wanda J. Lente; his Son Alfred Lente Jr. and wife Martina; his daughter Linda Lente; his grandchildren Ken Lingad, Michael D. Chavez, Jason D. Chavez, Paul M. (Scooter) Chavez Jr., Savannah L. Chavez, Caitlin Lente, and Jenna Lente; 6 great grandchildren; as well as many numerous nieces, nephews God children, and friends. Alfred was a career law enforcement officer up until 1975 where he retired from the U.S. Department of Interior � Bureau of Indian Affairs as a Federal Law Enforcement Agent. Alfred was also a well respected member of the Isleta Pueblo community. Services will be as follows: a Rosary will be celebrated on Wednesday March 6th, at 7PM at the St. Augustine Church in Isleta Pueblo. The funeral services will be held on Thursday March 7th at 10AM, at the St. Augustine Church in Isleta Pueblo, N.M. Interment to follow at Sandia Memory Gardens off of San Pedro North of Alemeda where Alfred will be buried next to his daughter Terry. Pallbearers will be Michael Chavez, Jason Chavez, Paul (Scooter) Chavez, David Lente, Edwin Lente, and Carlos Zuni. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alfred lente Jr., Leonard Lente, Fmr Governor J. Robert Benavidez, Fmr Governor Sepherino Lente, Michael Citrano and Ken Lingad. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Alfred's honor to the Albuquerque Humane Society, 615 Virginia St SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
