Alice M. Garcia

Garcia, Alice M. Loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Friday, February 8, 2013 at the age of 81. She was born in Chilili, NM to Jose and Abelina Gutierrez. Alice adored her family and loved spending time with them. She loved animals and enjoyed going to the casinos, watching western movies and caring for her plants. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lauriano Sr.; sister, Emily Quintero and daughter-in-law, Shirley. Alice is survived by her loving children, Santiago Garcia Sr., Mariano Garcia Sr. and wife Dora, Erinea Baros, Lauriano Garcia Jr., Isabelle Purcella and husband Joe, Heraclio Eric Garcia and wife Yolanda; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Angie Anduaga, Connie Cavaliar, Rosemary Harris and husband Ted; one brother Servando Gutierrez and wife Ernestine; sister-in-law Charlotte Salas; numerous nieces; nephews; extended family and friends. A Visitation will take place at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a reciting of the Rosary at 7:00 pm. Final Visitation will take place at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd SW, Friday, February 15, 2013 from 10:30 am to 11:00 am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am; Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
