Alice Jim

Alice Jim was born into the Bitter Water People Clan and born for the Black Streak Wood People Clan. Alice's hobbies included being a homemaker, seamstress, rug weaver and making Navajo Dolls. She also liked spending time with her grandchildren, telling stories about the old days and helping people out with ceremonies. She also like eating at Jerry's, McDonalds and Earls restaurant. Survivors include her sons, Eddie Jim Sr., Manuel Jim, Perry Jim, all of Twin Buttes, Fred Jim of Crestview; daughters, Rita Jim of Twin Buttes, Edith Baker of Tseyatoh, Rosita Buck of Gallup, Judith Long of Twin Lakes, Freda Sylversmythe of Twin Buttes; brother, Sammy E. Spencer of Red Rock; sister, Margaret Jim of Twin Buttes; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; parents, Charley and Jennie Spencer. Pallbearers will be Reginald Carr, Michael Carr, Eddie Jim Jr., Lorenzo Jim, Cary Destea, Randy Jim. Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arragements. Gallup, New Mexico 87301 (505) 722-6671
