Alice Pauline Moore

Alice Pauline Moore, 95, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at her residence. Alice was born September 07, 1928 in Sentinel, Missouri to Fred Francis Hawkins and Ali Dee Myers.

Alice is preceded in death by her first husband, George Robertson Spurgeon; her sons, Roy Steven and G Mike Spurgeon, and her husband James Robert Moore. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Sue Spurgeon; son, Charles G. Spurgeon; granddaughters, Tamantha Lynn, Paula Sue and Jamie Fonde, multiple grandchildren, four great grandchildren and her fur babies Candy and Tabetha.

Alice was a model for Rossie The Riveter at the age of 16, and was a house wife for 75 years. Alice was known for her kindness, honesty, loyalty and was trustworthy to a fault . Alice was a great mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by many.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Eastern Hills Baptist church at 10:00am. 3100 Morris St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.

Interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 10:30am. 501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
