Alice Marie Sanchez

Sanchez, Alice Marie (Suazo) Age 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully Sunday, August 5, 2012 while surrounded by her family. She was born in Pilar, NM on July 11, 1929, to Epemineo and Fedelia (Trujillo) Suazo. Alice enjoyed spending time with her husband in their orchard in Pilar. She also enjoyed painting and crochet. She was preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers, Mecalvio Salamon Suazo, Alberto Suazo and Jose Aberlenio Suazo. Alice is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Joe S. Sanchez; children, Ralph J. Sanchez and his wife Inez, Irene Contreras, Ruth Chavez, Clarence Sanchez, Jerry Sanchez and his wife Velma; seven grandchildren: Michael, Martin, Gabriel and Joe J. Sanchez, Regina Bowling, Monica Contreras and Clarese Sanchez and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:00 pm Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church with the Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 9, 2012, at 10:00 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave NE, Albuquerque.
