Alice A. Urshan

Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Alice A. Urshan passed away peacefully from this life on September 21, 2008. Alice was born December 15, 1909 in Berlin, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, the Reverend Benjamin Urshan. Alice was deeply devoted to her children and as a help-mate to Rev. Urshan in the ministry in St. Paul and Duluth, MN and later served as missionaries in the country of Iran (Persia). After coming back to the U.S. they served as pastors in Clintonville, Wisconsin and Albuquerque. Mrs. Urshan was an accomplished pianist. In addition she cared deeply for young people and served them well as an example to be admired. Faith and her actions were working together and her faith was made complete by what she did. James 2: 2 Alice is survived by her daughter Joy Tschawuschian, sons; David (Lynda), Paul (Dotti); nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Mother Urshan will be long remembered as she positively impacted many lives during her lifetime. She found true joy in life …being used for a purpose recognized fully only by the Mighty One! In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Living Word Church Building Fund, Unser at 17th Ave NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144. Arrangements are entrusted to:
