Allyson Terese Johnson Leo

October 6, 1962 — December 4, 2020

Our family sadly lost a pillar, on Friday December 4th, 2020, when Allyson Terese Leo (Johnson) went to be with the Lord. Allyson is survived by her husband of 34 years Sam, daughter Lauren, son Daniel, grandchildren: Malachi, Jaya, RJ, Jyselle, and Jayde, as well as, Grandmother Cruz Ybarra, Mother Eve Stith, Siblings, Robert Ybarra and Ramie O’Dell, and many other loved ones.

Allyson was born on October 6th, 1962 to Eve Ybarra (Stith) and William Johnson at Camp Pendleton, California. Later moving to New Mexico.

Mama Leo was a loving light who sparked joy and compassion in anyone she met. Her favorite things included: family trips, game nights with her infamous queso, and supporting her children and grandchildren’s sports and activities. We can assure you that our mom will be looking down on all of us and taking detailed notes, so when we meet again, she can give us advice on what we could have done better.

Allyson will be remembered for being a loyal wife, dedicated mother, loving daughter, patient sister, zealous grandmother, kind friend and a devoted Christian. She was a trailblazer, whose talents as a mortgage broker led her to be a leader in our community, helping thousands fulfill their dreams of homeownership. She really was a solid foundation, a voice of reason, a listening ear, an unfailing giver, and profoundly wise. The loss of our matriarch is unfathomable, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Services: Due to Covid, a small intimate family service will take place.
