Alvie F. Taylor

Taylor, Alvie F Age 65, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 in San Antonio, NM. He was born in Austin, TX on January 16, 1949, to Alvie and Martha Rhymes Taylor. Alvie moved to Socorro in 1954 and attended Socorro High School. He was a excellent Diesel Mechanic before retiring. Alvie loved to fish and hunt and enjoyed playing his guitar. Alvie married Donna Davis Taylor on Feb. 6, 1974. He was a dedicated family man and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Donna Davis Taylor; and his parents. Alvie is survived by his devoted children, Alvie Taylor Jr. and Tara Taylor; half brothers, Perry Tatum, David Tatum, and James Tatum; half sister, Pauline Taylor; grandchildren, Kevin Kenneth Taylor, Antonio Garcia, Dustin Taylor, and Jerry Taylor . Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Daniels Family Funeral Services -Socorro Chapel, 309 Garfield, Socorro with Rev. David McDaniel officiating.
