Alvin Garcia

Garcia, Alvin Age 77, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013. He was born in Las Vegas, NM on January 25, 1936. Alvin worked for the USGS for 43 years and served his country proudly in the United Stated Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Alvin is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Joy Garcia; children Rudy Garcia and wife Yvette and Yvette Pennington and husband David; four grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; two sisters; two brother and numerous family members and friends. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013, 9:00 am, at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque.
