Amalia "Mollie" Jaramillo passed away in Grants on October 28, 2008, she was 82. She was born on July 13, 1926 in Cubero, New Mexico to Marcelino Jaramillo and Ermina Salazar Jaramillo. She was resident of the area since 1957; she worked with the Cibola County Assessors office until her retirement. She was a devoted member of St. Vivian's Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Grants Senior Citizens. Ms. Jaramillo is survived by her two sons; Eddie Jaramillo Jr., and his wife Whitney of Tatum, NM, Joseph E. Jaramillo and his wife Elma of Milan, NM. Four daughters; Stella Castillo and her husband Luis of Grants, Helen Bell and her husband Steve of Grants, Marilyn Chavez and her husband David of Cubero, and Diana Benavidez and her husband Lawrence of Winnemucca, NV. One Sister; Julie Loo of Echo Park, CA. Along with 22 Grandchildren, and 35 Great-Grandchildren. In addition, her friend; Luciano Serna. She was preceded in death by her husband Eddie A. Jaramillo, who passed away in 1983. Her Parents. One daughter; Dorothy Jaramillo. Two grandsons; Marcelino Jaramillo, and Nicholas Luna. Three brothers; Louie Jaramillo, Tommy Jaramillo, and Billy Jaramillo. Four sisters; Margie Gordon, Mita Candelaria, Lorraine Norton, and Rosie Jaramillo. Pallbearers include; Phillip Castillo, Darrell Sanchez, Jackie Sanchez, Fabian Jaramillo, Marcus Jaramillo, and Patrick Luna. Honorary Pallbearers include; Peaches Longoria, Paul Castillo, Tyson Ellis, Cody Benavidez, Duane Chavez, Julian Chavez, Troy Chavez, Gene Chavez, Alex Bell, and Sara Bell.
