Amer Chand

Chand, Amer Loving husband, brother, uncle and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the age of 73. He was born in Marysville, CA to Karmen and Cirila and a resident of Albuquerque for 40 years. Amer was a retired Major who dedicated many years to the Air Force. He enjoyed referring International Volleyball and Officiated for the Olympic Trials. He was a well-educated man who held various educational degrees. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harry and Dave Chand and Jose Torres Sr.; Amer is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Niki; brother, Roy Chand and sister, Leti Navarro both of Yuba City, CA.; numerous nieces, nephews; cousins; extended relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will take place at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 10:00 am. A Memorial Service will also take place at Sutter Cemetery in Yuba City, CA., date and times pending. Amer will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
