On the evening of February 4th, 2023 Amparo De La Rosa passed away at the age of 92 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Amparo was born in October 30^th of 1930 in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.

She was married to Rolando Antonio Hechavarria Morillo and migrated to the USA of March 26^th of 1991 accompanied by their son Rafael Hechavarria De La Rosa.

Amparo is survived by her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
