Barela, Andrea C. Age 78, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on September 5, 1934, to Pelegrino and Rafelita Chavez. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George Barela and daughter Rita Lopez. Andrea is survived by her children Yolanda Lopez and husband Pete, Manuel Barela and wife Rose, Arlene Lopez and husband James, Jerry Barela and Donna Barela and husband Robert Rivera, 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Sisters Peggy Silva, Marlene Gutierrez, Arlene Martinez and husband Walter, and Carol Torres. Rosary to be recited on Monday, June 3, 2013, at 7:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Carlisle Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at 10:00 am at St. Therese Little Flower , 300 Mildred Ave. NW, Albuquerque. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
