Andrea Nicole Miller

We are sad to announce the passing of Andrea Nicole Miller. Andrea passed away on October 17, 2022, in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the age of 39. She was born on July 9, 1983, to Edward Wilke and Valerie Esquibel.  Andrea is survived by her son, Andrew Miller; Husband, Jared Miller; Mother, Valerie Wilke, Father, Ed Wilke; Sister, Christina Wilke, and her beloved cat Livvy, whom she adored!

Andrea was our first born and immediately captured our hearts.  I can remember leaving her for the first time with my parents, for a quick trip and upon returning, we both raced to see who could get to her first. 

Andrea’s health issues started at a young age; indeed, things did not look good for her at ages 3 and 4.  We were blessed to have her in our lives beyond that.

Andrea excelled at everything she did, from dance, which was her passion, to school, which came easy to her. She graduated from San Lorenzo Valley High School in 2001 and graduated from Cabrillo College in 2011.  She was very creative in crafting, cooking, and baking. She enjoyed reading, camping, traveling to Disneyland, and was a big fan of Harry Potter.

Andrea worked at New Mexico Wellness Center for 2 years and Visiting Angels for 5 years. She was able to work part-time while battling her health issues and while also being a mom to her pride and joy son, Andrew. The one thing she wanted in life most was being a mom. She was a proud and engaging mom, always doing special projects with him. 

She leaves behind a lot of broken hearts: her husband Jared, son Andrew, mother Valerie, dad Edward, and sister Christina.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on November 8^th at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.

Burial will take place at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd, Rio Rancho, NM 87124, immediately following the funeral and a reception will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish Hall following the burial.

Until we all meet again, rest in the arms of grandpa “Jorge” and grandma “Charlie” – We love you and miss you so much!
