60, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Phoenix, AZ on November 29, 1955 to Jose and Adella (Jaramillo) Chavez. He was a lifelong resident of Socorro. Andrew was a hardworking man and worked even as a hobby. He was very talented at woodwork. Andrew loved his family more than anything. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Lucy; and his brothers, Felipe; and Ferman. Andrew is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years, Beverly (Montoya) Chavez; his children, Nathan Joel Chavez; Julie Ann Chavez Leaf and husband, Shawn; and Rachelle Chavez; his sisters, Emma Gavina and husband, Robert; and Dee Parado and husband, Carlos; his nieces, nephews, and many close friends. Grandpa Andrew will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Antonia; Nathan Jr; Malachi; Gage; Dominic; Isabell; Ava; and Jasmine. As were Andrew's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial and Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
