Andrew A. Hanson, 80, Albuquerque, NM died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Vista Care Unit of Lovelace Hospital under the care of Hospice. Andrew was born September 2, 1928, in Mayville, ND, to Arthur and Gertie (Carlson) Hanson. He attended Mayville Country School and graduated from Mayville High School, then attended Mayville State College. Andrew was employed at Fairmont Creamery in Moorhead, MN, before enlisting in the Army. He was stationed in several overseas and stateside posts and served in both the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Andrew graduated from the Albuquerque Technical-Vocational Institute and was later employed by the New Mexico Highway Department until his retirement. Andrew is survived by his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Hanson of Albuquerque NM, and a brother-in-law, Wilbert C. Miller of Fargo, ND; nieces Barbara Dunbar of Fargo, ND and Ellen Perry (Patrick) of Mesa, AZ; nephews Mark Hanson (Martha) and Kenneth Hanson, Albuquerque, NM; Thomas Hanson, Arlington, TX and Steven Miller (Sharon) of Durbin, ND as well as five grand-nephews and three grand nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Donald Hanson, and sister, Sylvia B. Miller. Andrew's care has been entrusted to: Daniels Family Funeral Services
