Andrew S. Torrez Jr, age 68, went to meet our Lord on Tuesday, April 18. 2017.
Andrew was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather.
Andrew was born on Sunday, June 13, 1948 in Greeley, Colorado to Andrew S. Torrez Sr. and Rebecca Torrez.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law Ruddy Serna. Andrew is survived by his wife, Dianne, daughter, Christina (Mike), sons, Danny (Kim), Tony (Christina), step-son Erik L. Garcia, and step-daughter Marlene E. Carrillo-Ambrose (Paul), sisters, Juanita (Mike), Theresa (Rick), and Patricia, mother-in-law, Angie Dixon, and brother-in-law, Robert L. Dixon (Jetty) as well as many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Andrew served proudly in the U.S Air Force. At the time of his passing he had recently retired from being a truck driver at Sandia Office Supply. He was also a member of Queen of Heaven Church where he served as an usher.
The rosary will be prayed Monday, May 1, 2017 at 9:30am. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow immediately after the rosary at 10:00am. After the mass, interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
