Age 64, passed away surrounded by his loving family Thursday, September 4, 2014. He was born January 20, 1950 to Salvatore and Vivian Tortorici in Bronx, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Antoinette. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kristine Tortorici; their children: Salvatore Tortorici and wife Lori, Andrew Tortorici and wife Victoria, and Dina Coraci and husband Nat; eight grandchildren: Victoria, Andrea, Vivian, Tiffany, Ely, Alyson, Natalia, and Mikayla; sister, Frances Beattie; brother, Salvatore Tortorici; and many extended loving family members. He proudly serviced his country in the U.S. Army. Every Sunday he enjoyed having traditional Italian dinners; he served as a board member of the Italian-American Club; gave of his time helping military veterans. A Visitation will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. followed with a Funeral Service at 4:30 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services – Southern Chapel, 2400 Southern Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, NM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society or to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
