Andrew Arthur Velasquez

Velasquez, Andrew A. Age 62, of Corrales, NM, died at University of New Mexico Hospital on Saturday, September 22, 2012, following a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born December 1, 1949 in Jaroso, CO and resided in Questa, NM till 1986 with his wife, Kaye and family. They moved to Corrales in 1986 and owned Wonder Wash Car Wash in Rio Rancho, NM. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Velasquez. Andrew is survived by his mother and step-father, Cora and Jim Diaz; his wife, Kaye; his son and daughter in-law, Andrew and Inna; daughter and son-in-law, Margo and Michael Lucero; three grandchildren, Alexandra, Kenzie and Michael Lucero; two brothers and their families, Rickie, Barbara and Rychell Velasquez; Joey, Silva, Joe, Josh and Jared Velasquez. The family would be honored to have family and friends celebrate his life on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Chapel, 4001 Osuna Road NE, Albuquerque, NM.
