Aneda Mora

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Aneda Mora, who peacefully left this world on February 15, 2025, at the age of 94. 

Aneda lived a long and beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Born on December 12, 1930, she spent her years devoted to her family, always ensuring those around her felt supported, cared for, and well-fed—especially when it came to a good, authentic New Mexican meal smothered in both red and green chile. 

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Mora Jr., and now joins him in eternal peace. Aneda is survived by her five loving children: Charlene Vallejos, Marilyn Mora, Renee Mora, Ben Mora III, and Gary Mora. Her legacy continues through her four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. 

 A lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, Aneda rarely missed a game, cheering passionately for her team every season. She also had a love for the simple joys in life—whether it was a fun night at the casino, playing the penny slots, or gathering with loved ones over a delicious homemade meal. 

 Aneda’s warmth, humor, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew her. 

 A celebration of her life will be held on 3-6-25 at 10am at Daniels Funeral Service 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, where family and friends can gather to honor the incredible woman she was. 

 Rest easy, Mom—may the Cowboys always win in your honor, and may your spirit shine as brightly as your love did in our lives.
