Angela "Angelita" Garcia Loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, friend and dog mom to Chili and Powder, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the age of...well she never wanted anyone to know her age! She was born in Padroni, Colorado to Manuel Negrete and Raphaela Ortiz. Angelita adored her GOD and never gave up on her faith. Despite having only a third grade education and speaking only Spanish, Angelita sacrificed to provide a Catholic education sending all four children to St. Pius High School. Her sacrifice resulted in one son Rudy, the Dean of Students at CNM, one daughter Rose, an attorney, one son Roy, a certified public accountant, and her beloved son, Charlie, who retired from the United States Post Office to care for her. Mom always had a beautiful smile on her face. Until the very end, she smiled with her amazing blue eyes. She enjoyed singing and sang to everyone in the hospital so that no one would be sad. She enjoyed her Mexican novellas, walking the dogs at the park and praying. She is preceded in death by her husband Rudolfo P. Garcia. Angelita is survived by children Roy Garcia and wife Patricia, Charlie Garcia, Rudy M. Garcia and wife Barbara, and Rose Garcia; granddaughter Rochelle Garcia; brothers Joaquin Negrete, Raphael Negrete and Rudolfo Negrete; sister Teresa Tirado and husband Angel; nieces Sylvia Tirado and Gloria Tirado; nephews Mark Tirado, Angel Tirado and Frankie Tirado; close friends Mary Gallegos, Amy Daniels and Mary Lou Brito and husband Art and numerous relatives and friends.
