Angelina "Angie" Stanley

Angelina (Angie) Stanley, age 90, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020.  She graduated high school from St. Patrick‘s Academy in Raton, NM and moved to Las Vegas, NM, where she met and married, her husband, Louis R. Stanley (member of the US Air Force) while training at the local university.  They moved to Clovis, AFB, then to Albuquerque.  Angie was very active in her church, a member of the Legion of Mary, supported many outlying religious organizations, including two pilgrimages to Europe.  She was a loving and devoted mother and loving friend to all who knew her.  She was the daughter of the late Donato and Epimenia Lucero, originally of San Jose, NM.  She is survived by her two sisters; Stella Vigil, Cora (Richard) Ogilvie; her three adult children: Dan Stanley and wife, Krissy, Tom Stanley and wife, Mary Jo, Nancy Anderson and husband, Samuel; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family is especially thankful to Father Gonzales (Queen of Peace Catholic Chapel), the staff at Presbyterian Hospital, and Daniels Funeral Home.  A Rosary is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25th, at 10:30 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 815 Guaymas Pl. NE, Albuquerque, NM  87108 (on Lomas Blvd NE).  Interment will follow at Sandia Memorial Gardens Cemetery (Albuquerque).  Reception to be announced at church service.
